Four Part Series to Explore the Creation/Evolution Debate # # # A four part series about evolution and creation was presented on public access TV in RI during November and December 2008. Those presentations are now available online by clicking on the photos above. “In schools across the country, a heated debate is raging about the origin of the human race,” stated Bill Warcholik, pastor of the Seventh-day Adventist® churches in those communities. “That’s one reason why National Geographic’s cover story in the November 2004 issue asked the question ‘Was Darwin Wrong?’ They said, ‘No.’ But is that the final answer? In fact, the creation/evolution debate is only the tip of the iceberg; much more fundamental issues are at stake. Where did human beings come from? Does God really exist? What are the implications of these questions for everyday life?” Pastor Shawn Boonstra of It Is Written Television was the speaker by satellite. He explored the creation/evolution debate, considered the evidence in the fossil record and tackled Darwin’s claims head-on using both the Bible and scientific studies.
